Hen and stag party

Hen and stag party — questions about the couple-to-be

The wedding party builds the board beforehand: stories, trips and questions about the couple. Guests see the answers only on the night. An AI draft of answers is on Premium. Rules are on the FamiliVersus page, an independent Family Feud–style game.

TV board — bachelorette on a TV screen

Uncensored FamiliVersus — classic hen or stag night

A hen or stag night plays by its own rules. This is not a family dinner or a corporate team event. It is an evening of jokes, memories, bold topics, double meanings and questions you would not ask at Sunday lunch.

This is where you can prepare the most cheeky, absurd and unfiltered version of FamiliVersus.

What happens in FamiliVersus stays in FamiliVersus.

The best man or maid of honour prepares the game. Before the party they write questions, prepare answers and enter everything in FamiliVersus. Guests only see questions and the board during play.

Then the group splits into two teams and plays classic FamiliVersus — buzzers, revealed answers, points, strikes and stealing rounds.

Questions can cover dating, flirting, relationships, marriage, temptation and topics usually raised after a few drinks. Answers can be bold, ambiguous, absurd and surprising — exactly what fits your group of friends.

The best man or maid of honour can write questions themselves, collect anonymous answers from guests or ask AI to help invent the most unconventional questions and answers.

Bold humour is welcome. Real secrets, humiliating specific people and crossing others’ boundaries — are not.

Questions from the future spouse — test for bride or groom

A more personal format where the main player is not a whole team but the bride- or groom-to-be.

At a hen night the maid of honour can ask the groom beforehand to prepare questions about their relationship, shared stories, dates, married life ahead and spicier topics.

The groom also prepares answers that later appear on the FamiliVersus board. The bride does not know them in advance. During the party she answers while the host gradually reveals what her future husband prepared.

Each answer that matches the board scores points. Friends can comment and cheer, but the bride gives the final answer.

At a stag night it works the other way round. The best man contacts the bride-to-be, who prepares questions and answers about her future husband. During the party the groom tries to guess what his future wife prepared.

Questions can cover, among other things:

  • first dates,
  • shared habits,
  • plans after the wedding,
  • marriage stereotypes,
  • what the partner values most,
  • what drives them crazy,
  • temptation, fantasies and topics not usually discussed in public.

This is not a trivia quiz. It combines a partner knowledge test, surprise and controlled public embarrassment. Best when the future spouse prepares questions and answers, and the best man or maid of honour keeps them secret until play starts.

AI draft — I play too

FamiliVersus is still two teams. On Premium, AI can draft several answers when you save a question. You then host the round in I play too mode: the board stays hidden until you reveal it. Demo and a free account stay on Host only, with the answers visible on the panel.

AI offers a draft, not a survey result. Keep, cut or rewrite the answers before anyone in the room sees them.

A round only the organiser knows

Two teams: old friends and new ones. Keep the board secret until you start. The points below are an illustration — not a survey of the guests.

What does the organiser hide until the night?

  • The question board — 30 pts
  • A group photo from a trip — 20 pts
  • The playlist — 16 pts
  • A present — 14 pts
  • A message from the partner — 12 pts
  • The dress code — 8 pts

The group decides how sharp the jokes get. The game does not suggest a line.

Before you send the invitations

Who writes the questions for a hen or stag party?

Usually the wedding party, before the night. Guests see the board only during the game. An AI draft of answers is on Premium.

Is AI available on free plans?

No. On demo and free accounts you reveal answers manually in host only mode. AI answer generation when creating questions and AI checking of player answers in gameplay — Premium only.

Can I add my own questions?

Yes. On a free account you can prepare an unlimited library (categories, questions, up to 8 answers when saving) — including questions about a couple, a company or guests, by hand or with AI on Premium. In gameplay the first 3 questions from your library are available (alphabetical order); the rest locked; up to 8 answers on the board. Full library in gameplay — with Premium.

How many teams can play?

FamiliVersus supports two teams. The whole room can watch the TV board; teams buzz in on one device with two buttons.
